Picture books are a good tool for introducing young minds to books and reading.   They are geared toward babies and pre-school children, but all ages enjoy these books because they are the building blocks of our mental and cultural development as human beings. Even though they contain very little text, the illustrations are able to tell a story that fascinates and intrigues the minds of young readers.

We offer a large selection of paper back and hardback picture books as well as a fine selection of Caldecott Medal winners.   In this category, we also include board books which are for pre-school children and younger.   These books contain very little text as they are books for small children so that they can become acquainted with words, sounds, colors, shapes and other basic concepts.
